Only halfway! What does TarT stand for?

Ha......gotcha. Keep working on it.

It's not an acronym.  The name describes the way it appeals to the eyes and ears.  :)

AR-T TarT - it's dessert for your earsTM.

The CSB likes it, but I think she is biased..................."That looks yummy. I want one of those!"

Yeah, but you know the first question every audiophile will ask is "What is a TarT?" Somehow, a lot of them won't be satisfied with your clever saying.

Someone tell me I am wrong. (Won't be the first time.)

OK, here is our thoughts, as of now:

Pulito

Pros: We like the way it sounds, and the connotation.
Cons: Doesn't look good, when actually is on on the panel.

A buddy, at some other company, said "Why don't you call it AR-T Purity?" (Pronounced Ar-tee Puri-tee.)

Pros: Sounds good, good connotation.
Con: Someone here gets screwed, if we use it. May have to give one to "runner-up", or we look like weasels.

Then, we realized someone (actually 2, but only the first one could win) came up with "Pure".

Pros: looks really good, on the panel. Especially if we put "Pure" on top, and AR-T, below.
Cons: Some might think it to be pretentious.

AR-T TarT

Pros: If we are not going to use an "eye-tie" sounding word, what is best than something that really has no meaning? Sounds like something we would do.
Cons: Really does sound like something we would do!

(Hey, if Moffat, et al, can call their stuff "Schiit Audio", what is really wrong with Art-tart?)

Hey!

I'll give a shot.... or two if you don't mind

1. "USB CleanConnect" or "USB CleanConnection"

2. "USB-PSU"

3.  "USB Clean PSU"

4. "USB-ISO-PSU"

Well, look like that is more than two.

Take care,
Buddy :thumb:

Seems all those who are into naming this have exhausted. How about announcing the winner :|

We have been talking it over, with no consensus.

Grunge Sniper has some support, but we may change it to Grunge Buster.

Clean AC-T..........not bad. "Clean Act" sounds better than "Clean Ac-t", though.

Whaddya you guys think? We are not going to be the ones that buy it.

Don't plug your idea. If you get your buddies to do it, not sure how we would know. I guess we could do our Sgt. Schultz impersonation.

OK.........you have our favorites: let's see if we can whittle it down to 2, at most.

Thanks,
Pat

We have dark house, gaining support.............one of the early ones. Wasn't anything I would have thought up, but I wasn't a fan of that movie.

"Forget it, Donny. You are out of your element."

Pretty much describes us, when it comes to marketing.
