Melissa Sale: THANK YOU!

Guys,

I told you that the the MELISSA sale was on all of our units that use the Melissa platform, and I also told you that I had a lot of inventory and some nasty credit card debt to retire (in addition to my substantial equity investment).

What I didn't mention was that if we sold enough units, to retire my credit card debt, Melissa would finally accept my hand in marriage. That 4MELISSA discount code... it was really "for Melissa" the girl, not the enclosure.

The generous discount was a small price to pay for the most amazing woman I've ever met. To make her wait until sales picked up in the fall was just something I didn't want to put her through. She waited nearly 4 years for me... that's long enough! And god forbid... she could have left me.

So what does that mean, exactly? I'm proposing to Melissa later this week, as soon as the hardware arrives. When it happens, I'll post here and then blow away this thread shortly after.

So when I said THANK YOU for supporting our sale, I really meant it from the bottom of my heart. I'm going to read the roster list of everyone who bought an amp, in my thank-yous at the wedding (just kidding).

So this is great. We buy a (wonderful) amp and have a hand in helping two wonderful folks get together. It's the feel-good movie/sale of the summer. But my question (for Seth) is, how are you going to prevent Mama Virtue (who has been posting in this circle) from seeing this message before the middle of the week (D-Day)? Or is the proposal not going to be much of a surprise?

"Mama Virtue" is Cami, who is Jason's wife, so no worries. They do the final assembly, order fulfillment, customer service, and cables.
