modifications to audio equipment

hi,

i live in perth western australia and i am after someone who is firstly reputable and can do modifications to audio equipment.  i am willing to ship my equipment to most places in australia by post.  a lot less expensive than shipping to the us.

i would like to modify my pioneer pds-507 as a transport for my perpetual technologies p3a dac.  i had a quote to convert my optical out to digital out and it was going to cost $300 au plus to do this.  i thought it was a bit expensive.

regards

Sorry to be a thread miner, but this is my first post here

l recently had my Audio Note DAC 3 heavily modded by a tech in Sydney who did a brilliant job, the improvement is nothing short of remarkable. l know he does a broad range of general repairs, but mostly does "hot ups" on esoteirc gear for well heeled clients in Sydney.

PM me if you would like more info.

Cheers Simon

bally,

the powerbox sells for $400AUD. it's a lot cheaper than most power filters and does a really good job.

but if you're into DIY,  and you want a pwr filter - it's easy to make one yourself- but may not be as good.
