I noticed on the NX model speakers there are 2 different shapes for the wave guide. In some instances it's sides are rounded and in others they're more squared off.  I have the NX Otica and mine are the squared off kind. Is there a story behind the difference?

The ones that we have with softer edges were simply hand sanded after the CNC machine milled them out.

I was assembling the Studio’s a while back and I thought it would be cool to have the waveguide offered as a glue in insert with the flat packs. This would help when finishing the cabinets, I think Peter had mentioned it to me in a message, but it would be easer to finish the guide separately, if veneering across the enclosure front baffles. Just a thought.
