Title: Pioneer 45A or 47Ai??

Dan -

I'm on the verge of buying a universal player, and I'm looking at these two units right now.  I hope to send whichever one I do end up with out to you sometime over the next few months.

Since you are probably fairly familiar with both units, do you feel the 47Ai is worth the extra money?  Or will an eventual mod overcome any shortcomings the 45A may have?

The 47Ai has the same analog stage and DACs, but also features better video and a proprietary digital out for SACD/DVD-A.  For my $, I would buy the 45A.
