So my EE ordered a batch of heavy duty gold plated banana jacks from China to build a new batch of our ABX comparators.

The package arrived yesterday.

My engineer informs me the package had been opened and passed by - - - - -  the US Department of Agriculture.

We are glad the bananas did not have any spiders lurking inside.  😋

I suspect there is way more to the story. Obviously, China has brought over lots of critters over the years. Perhaps the region the product was shipped from has had its share of unwelcomed tag-alongs. They are also a suspect in illegal drug shipments.
