One of my favorite concerts was seeing Hugh in San Francisco in 2003 or 2004.  Started out as the usual jazz concert with everyone seated and no one making a peep of noise.  By the end of the concert Hugh had everyone standing up and dancing and singing...something I had and have still never seen at a jazz concert.  Thanks for the great memories Hugh....RIP

Didn't know his work well, but have been a fan of this performance for a long time:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jmmODnes2XU

In the 90s his ex-wife Miriam Makeba was named in the FM acoustics site as custumer of FMa power amps.
RIP

I attended one of his concerts many moons ago.
"Wow!!" is the only way I can describe it.
RIP, our rainbow nation has lost a brother and the world has lost a truly talented artist.

I would buy the cd or sacd , but the sacd is $60. I'm not sure of the sonic difference between the two.

The entire album is on YouTube. If you want to sample before you purchase .

Does any one know if this is Hugh singing on the album?
