Upgrade Question
« on: 27 Jan 2023, 08:46 pm »
Would you consider trading in (through Bryston's "Trade Up" program) a 4BSST^2 for a new 3B^3 an upgrade, assuming one didn't need the 4b's extra power? The new speakers I have on order are more efficient than what I currently have and won't require as much power.

Thanks,
-Doug

I would definitely do the upgrade to the 3B3, and am considering the same power change from 300/ch to the 200/ch.
I believe the new Solomie input circuits are worth it.
IMHO ✌🏻

I also found the Cubed amplifiers provide a noticeable upgrade in sound quality.

I heard the cubed and I would say it is very detailed sound. Must get all systems upgraded to keep up with cubed series amp performance. Unfortunately I can not have that privilege to own the cubed amps, but I can live with the base of Bryston sound. If you can afford the cubed series.. go for it!  Life is short …enjoy your life while you can!

I have a 3B cubed with Aerial 5T speakers. More than enough power and dynamics.
