Hi Matt and all Audio Circle members.
STOP it, Enough !
That's too much nice stuff for my eyes...
Did you do all those all by yourself or with the help of God ?
You should start right now to take order for custom made audio stuff.
WOW I won't be able to sleep tonight after seeing all that extraordinary work of art and I would not be surprise if one or many of your creations end up in a (Audio) museum.
WOW... You will be in the Guinness world records book under... ? ? ?
They will have to create a new category.
WOW...

Guy 13

I do all the designing, programming and machining myself :)

I've been machining since i was 19, now 25. Yes only 25! My dad got me into audio at a young age.

Being a machinint and loving audio. Things can happen  8)

Neat stuff, Matt! :thumb:

Got a picture of the machine that produces the parts?

Thanks,

Ruben

Here ya go :)

These were the side plates in my Haas VF2 SS CNC mill. Machining 6-32 tapped holes into the side of the plates for fastening.

I found this one. People wanted me to keep these plates raw but being a machinist, you get bored of the machined finish look quick.

One of the faceplates roughed out

Machining the aluminum plinth for my TT~2 (2" thick)

My MMp~1 before anodizing

My TT~1 at Needle Doctor :)

The belt wheel for my TT~1 (belt wheel?)

TT~1 pictures before anodizing

Power supply box for the TT~1

Platter

12 outlet power box i made. PSU~12

Making the crossover boards for the Aluminati speakers. Material is white delrin. 10,000 rpms at 138 inches per minute feed.

Is that too much

Matt, that is just too cool! Love watching the CNCs run.

I'm a little envious.

In my next life I'm gonna  be a machinist.

Nope! Is that all you've got?

If you don't mind sharing....What does a setup like that cost?

I will soon be taking delivery of a new 5' X 10' CNC machine for woodworking. CAN'T WAIT!!! :hyper:

BTW, welcome to AC! :thumb:

Best,

Ruben

I have got around a 1,000 pictures. No joke  :icon_twisted:

I should say, my work lets me use the machines after hours to make my creations. We make medical machines for the medical industry. Lots of different equipment to use.

The Haas VF2 SS goes for $100,000 i believe. The Mazak Nexus 510C is around $175,000.

Ain't cheap but boy do those things fly. Most of the machines go up to 12,000rpms and have 30hp electric motors

After awhile they are very boring to watch. Well if you do it for a living. I don't get excited much by machining anymore, more when my projects get finished :)

Actually they start at only $65k.  One of the least expensive mills in the industry and American Made.  Hard to beat for the money and like anything, it comes down to the operator whether it's accurate or not.

Oh yes. You are right.

We have a vf4 which is closer to 100k.
