Here is a good new album by Death From Above 1979. I was a fan quite a while ago and recently got back into them. Anyway, here's the new album called "Outrage Is Now"

If you like it on the heavy side, you'll like this. I also appreciate the previous post by @SteveFord

Cheers!

My local record store has stopped putting $2 on any jazz lp they didn't recognize, and have started looking things up on Discogs.   Fortunately, they haven't figured out to type in the record #, so they are getting average price instead of first pressing prices.
So, for $15, I picked up an obscure Rocky Boyd Quintet, w  Kenny Drew and Ron Carter.  1961 pressing JT001, one of the first Jazztime records.

Just bought a bunch of classic jazz, Japanese pressings from the 1970's...
Waltz for Debbie by Bill Evans,  Jutta Hipp,  Vol.2 Horace Silver Trio,  Cookiin' by Booker Ervin,  Lonely Town by Tommy Flannagan, Art Farmer and Benny Golson Jazztet,  Gettin' Around by Dexter Gordon, and Further Explorations by Horace Silver.
The wife never needs to know the total $.

Only had to wait around 20 years but it finally showed up.
MUCH better than the CD I've had forever.

The Demos for this album just appeared on Tidal in 96Khz MQA.  She appears to be releasing all of the demos for her albums, a must listen if you are a fan.  Especially the "Dry" demos.  :icon_lol:

Finally found a new stereo copy of Miles Davis Bitches Brew. Been meaning to pick that up for a while now. And since I was already there, I picked up 2 Bad Religion albums for good measure. I love record shopping on rainy lazy Sundays.

Picked up a 1972 Japanese pressing of THE jazz lp.  Sony SOPL-155   NM.  Much more lively and detailed, instruments more precisely placed than my 6 eye copy.
