Title: Any benefit to upgraded fuses in the LIO?
Post by: Timbana on 25 May 2015, 08:49 pm
Hi Vinnie,

I almost hesitate to pose this question, as I expect there are strong opinions as to whether "upgraded" fuses produce sonic benefits (in general, in various audio components) . . . and don't want to start a flame war. Limiting the application specifically to the LIO, please advise as to whether you've found upgraded fuses to be beneficial . . . or have reason to believe they might be based on your circuit design.

Thanks!

Hi Timbana,

Good question that I knew would come up sooner or later.  :green:

The answer is that they would have no sonic benefit in the LIO's circuit design (used for the power feed coming in, which is
already 100% isolated from the audio circuitry).
