Check out The Matchbreaker. After the film, you can chase down it's tragic but intriguing back story.

Watch "What the Health," then conduct your own research.

+3 on Ozark  :thumb:

Don't much care for the way they portray us Missourians but....hey it's Hollywood. Then again, the Ozarks are a different culture than the StL/KC metro areas.

Agreed, The Fall is great.  Gillian Anderson is awesome, as always.

My wife and I recently watched The Keepers. It's a nonfiction miniseries about 2 women in their 60s who try to solve the decades-old murder of a popular young nun who taught at the Catholic girls high school they attended. This miniseries is extremely griping and intense.

This would have made an excellent movie but it is a well done doc. The fact that it is true makes you sad and angry.

The movie Death Note was pretty good IMO, very similar to the Anime but in a shorter condensed version.

If it hasn't already been mentioned, I want to suggest an Aussie TV series that rivals anything on Netflix. It's  called Offspring. See what you think. We are nearing the end of Season 6 currently. There are 7 in total. The emotional crescendo at the end of Season 5 brings such a rush of feelings and confusion and resolution in a wind down that will leave you limp. This is a masterful performance by all involved.

Netflix's best original show? I don't know but I just finished the second season and thought it was exceptional.

I've got a couple more episodes (Season 3) of Narcos to watch, but let's just say, it has my full attention.  All three seasons have been solid.

Anyone tried watching this yet? I've heard it can be watched in German with English subtitles but for me it's coming in with English voice over. Is there a way to switch it?
