Title: sub amps

Hey Guys,
I have been wonering lately if there are any good sub amp out there that are not of the 'plate' variety which include the processing in them?
I have found a couple of Velodyne products that seem to be a standalone line level processor (not sure what amps u would use for that!) or processer with single 1000W amp built in.
Dont suppose anybody knows anything about how good/ effective these products are do they?

There are a number of audio & pro audio pre-amps that have specific sub out capabilities...there's also a couple of pro audio crossovers from Behringer, Korg, etc etc that will work fine too...then add your preferred power amp to run the sub and jobs done.
