Here is the official press release: http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/pdf/130221a_e.pdf (http://www.scei.co.jp/corporate/release/pdf/130221a_e.pdf)

I'm very happy to see that the controller they've got isn't the controller that I saw.   :thumb:
The prototype unit I saw had touchscreen d-pad.

Here are the core specs:

Nice, I missed this one. I'll add this brand new article here.

Lead designer Mark Cerny fully unveils and gives breakdown of the new system

great read! What a beast.

Planning on running PS4 and Vita together as my music server.

Really excited about the PS4.

I have been a gamer since I was a kid. I love playing them now, both solo, and with my kids, more than ever before.

Given the advanced GDDR5 RAM, I am anticipating massive shortages when the PS4 releases. Compound that with the fact that gamestop had something like over 900,000 sign-ups for the preorder information list, I can tell it is going to be a headache trying to scoop one up later this year.

 :duh:

Yeah, I was one of those 900k. Soon as my phone rings several of my friends and I are putting money down that day. Also signed up to get an alert on Amazon
