I just spoke briefly with Dennis by phone.  He sounds good, and he was out of bed and on his feet for a short time today :thumb:!

So far, he has had a painful night and an uncomfortable day since getting out of surgery.  He says the medication he's on nauseates him, so he's afraid he has been grumpy with the hospital staff.

All in all, this is good news.

Excellent news, and all the best wishes for Dennis!! As said before, nice to know it was a planned surgery...although no surgery is good surgery. Hope all goes well with the recovery, and he is better than new when up to full speed! Get well soon!

Grummpy sounds good! I hope Dennis makes a speedy recovery. It's amazing how quickly they get heart patients back on their feet.

Thanks for the kind wishes, everyone.  I'm doing great.  I thought I would feel like I was hit by a Mack Truck, but it's more like a Honda Civic.  I walked about a mile today, and if I had a personal slave to haul speakers around, I could be back in the design business.  I wish I could make Audio Karma (I really want to see, hear what Frank has up his sleeve amplifier-wise--it should be a show), but that will be about a week early to be flying around the country.  Cheers, dennis.

Doc, you are a riot!!

I was thinking about you this morning.  I am very glad that your surgery went well and that you are back on your feet.  I consider you to be "The Godfather" of speaker building.  Having you present makes the world feel much more orderly and proper.

Sincerely,

Dave Ellis
