Ambiophonics, a Two-channel Audio System by Ralph Glasgal

Room Size
Any home listening room or studio
System Overview
Ambiophonics is a binaural technology designed to replace stereophonic loudspeaker triangle reproduction of ordinary two channel recordings. Through the use of RACE, Recursive Ambiophonic Crosstalk Elimination, existing two channel LPs or CDs (as well as new recordings made with the Ambiophone) can be reproduced with unprecedented prescence, up to 180 degree front stage width, and enhanced depth. Details on hi-end processors or free DYI PC downloads are at www.ambiophonics.org and www.tactlab.com/Products/RCS22XP/ambiophonics_system.html Vistors who wish a demonstration are always welcome at the Ambiophonic Institute in Rocklegh, New Jersey or at TACT Audio in Albuqueque, New Mexico.

Other Components
Ambiophonics is a readily audible tweak that eliminates the psychoacoustic distortions inherent in the stereo loudspeaker triangle arrangement. Ambiophonics eliminates the interaural level differences and interaural time difference errors produced by the acoustic crosstalk engendered by the stereo loudspeaker arrangement. Ambiophonics also corrects the pinna direction finding errors for central soloists caused when speaker sources are actually at 30 degrees, etc. See all the technical papers.
