ok, let's start it!

Hello from Austria!

I am living here in Austria, Europe.
Already have some years on this planet and love to hear music in a good quality. So, DIY is a good way to realize it.
Some time ago I had contact with Danny, GR-Research...
Today I thought it is a good thing to join here and have more focus on DIY, speaker building.
kind regards.

Welcome!

DIY can be a good approach if you're experienced in building and know what to expect from the build.  Realize that with DIY you can't very well audition ahead of time, costly mistakes are possible, and then there's the "proud papa" syndrome where you can't hear the shortcomings.  Leading edge companies aren't DIY, they invest heavily in large R&D efforts.  That's what you're paying for, or not.

  • To whom more was given more will be required.
    • Never go to a psychiatrist, adopt a straycat or dog. On the street they live only two years average.
