His room is 14x17 the ceiling is complex but most of it is 8.5 feet tall and maybe 20% of it is 10 feet tall.

Buddy wants to install a PJ

I strongly prefer to orient audio and video rooms along a long wall.  I've just have better luck this way.

What do you guys think?  The house is roughed in with a door in the middle of a long wall now.  But that can be moved to one end of the long wall or placed on one of the shot walls very easily for little cost now.

How many subs?
AT screen?
Size of speakers?
Expected number of listening positions/seats?

I think both ways will/can work, but it all depends on expectations
