I'll be visiting Sacramento in August for a few weeks and I'm hoping I can get some pointers on some good places to go as far as audio, especially vintage and DIY. I'm not sure how much time I'll have; I'll be there for a military school. I'm from North Dakota, so I'm looking forward to the "big city" visit (at least for a while; too much traffic is one of my least favorite things!).
I hope to find some stores that sell audio DIY kits and DIY speaker parts (budget stuff, hopefully). Maybe some decent thrift stores or the like. Any ideas or suggestions?
