I assume this is similar to your ELT or  a MINI HTIB

Thanks

Mike, that is kind of hard to find. I went through the ELT 5.1 page.

Harry

The sats and center are completely shielded, sub is not. The sats and center MUST be used with a 100Hz or higher feed from the source, warranty is void if they're used full range. They're gutsy little Tykes, but they are tykes :)

Mike,

What's the efficiency/power handling capacity of the Tykes?

Do you have a patent on speaker names?

Could they come in white/aluminum?  (You know that you're treading on lifestyle grounds here.)

The system looks like it'd blow away an $800 B*se system with separate tweeter and neodymium magnets, and for half the price!

Just back from the evening's concert and I'm rather tired. Will look up the #s tomorrow. White isn't currently planned, but silver is pretty cool. Very good sound AND look at this price point.

JLM:

I did a quick measurement today and would say the sensitivity of the Tyke satellites is right around 88-89db. They MUST be used as small, with the reciever crossover set at 100hz or higher. (They don't have light bulbs inside to protect them :)

They'll play pretty loud for their size. No problem using them with 60-100 watt/channel rec as long as set to small, 100Hz or above and don't try to get too crazy, they are tiny but talented
