Up for sale is the amazing one box solution, the LIO. This unit is in perfect condition. My system is making a pretty dramatic change or this piece wouldn't be leaving. There aren't a whole lot of things in the audio world which I have considered truly special but this would be one.

Included with the sale is the stock pair of JJ tubes as well as a $400 pair of Telefunken E88CC/6922 from Upscale Audio.
I was able to hear both the copper, silver and DHT options during a single listening session. I didn't love what the DHT did. It detracted a bit from the soundstage in my opinion. Placing the copper AVC/Tube back in brought the soundstage back to what I feel is 'correct'. Putting the SILVER AVC/Tube in was the ticket in terms of clarity and soundstage. We put the copper and then the silver back in again and I knew I needed the silver. If you are looking for the last bit of detail to be revealed in the recording without any hint of harshness then you need the silver. It does not come without a premium of course
