Title: Good news Hans Beekhuyzen's medical procedure a great success
Post by: Norman Tracy on 22 Oct 2021, 03:50 pm
Sharing some good news that hit YouTube this morning. Hans Beekhuyzen's brain surgery for the tremors he suffered from was a great success and he is back on his Hans Beekhuyzen Channel https://youtu.be/xe4oI4A5UM0 (https://youtu.be/xe4oI4A5UM0).

There is more than a bit of HiFi happy irony in that here we have a audiophile and HiFi journalist who upgraded not his amp but his brain. His surgery involved placing a wire into the area of his brain that when now stimulated by a low level signal offers he reports complete relief from tremors he suffered greatly from. If I could enjoy visiting him in Germany it would be fun to tease while sharing a beer asking if they used AudioQuest or Siltech or Mundorf wire?

Personally I enjoy the depth of experience and pragmatic balance Hans demonstrates on his channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR4tuhqPppVp-PD0q17sPEA (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCR4tuhqPppVp-PD0q17sPEA).

This is good news NT. Has there ever been a more important circumstance where the quality of wire was more important?

Having asked that, my guess is was just hospital grade.  :|
