Cook: 30 mins
Ready in: 35 mins
 
Ingredients
1 lb Bacon (not thick-cut)
1/4 cup Brown sugar

Cooking Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.

Slice bacon into 1/2 inch strips and dredge in brown sugar until thoroughly coated.

Crumple aluminum foil to allow for grease drainage and place it on a baking sheet. Lay out the bacon on this making sure not to overlap pieces.

Bake until crispy. Allow to cool and harden before serving.

Recipe Notes
It'll be the very first thing that's munched up if you bring it to a party. Guaranteed.

Hmmm.... that sounds different, and tasty.  I just checked the freezer for bacon... check, and found some brown sugar the wife used recently to make peanut butter cookies, looks like I'm golden! 

I'm off tomorrow and I'm drinking a few Weihenstephaner beers and listening to some tunes.  I'm gonna turn the music up a bit now and give this a whirl!

I'll be trying out also but after my super high bloor sugar results from this weeks blood work, I'll be using Sweet n' Low Brown sugar myself. It works ok for baking. I might even throw some into a salad.

Can't wait to hear back from my guinea pig.

good find Robin. Unhealthy for sure but addictive. I bought some Organic slab bacon at least to tame the beast a bit. As candy very nice but put some on a fresh turkey sand with swiss and tomato and man o man.
