Audience Clarinet 1+1 V speakers-Reduced

My buddy Rex from Hawaii sent me these speakers to sell for him. All the reviews say they sound just like Quads. Rex says the same. He has owned Quad 63's and stacked Quads. He wanted me to listen to  them, but I am afraid to. I don't need another pair of speakers.

These have been upgraded to the newer V series.

Paypal fees  of 3% and $40 shipping added to the $1500. Ships from 65617.

Rex says to buy a pair of white gloves to take the speakers out of the box, that is how nice these speakers look.

Thanks FullrangeMan, I guess I should give them a try.

I am listing these on Ebay this weekend for the same price, so I will reduce these to $1500 to AC'ers.

Have the small "The One" model. Same driver, but just one per channel. Have had a lot of experience with single full range speakers. These are exceptional on how well they play at the lowest gain, really. They are smooth without any peakiness in the upper mids. Audience evolved from using Bandor(which I've had also) drivers (which have a lineage to Jordan drivers). Thus, these have that speed and smoothness--I'd buy them if I weren't so content (and financially restrained) with "The One".
Also I've formerly had the Quad ESL, and yes they've similarity.

Yep, another company shifts those speakers to be built in China, which is really good for that bottom line. But, you never see them passing along the savings in any way whatsoever.

Albert von Schweirkert is the only one that lowers price if at all possible and made in America to boot.
The VR33's went up in price from $3750 apprx. to $4500. But, when enough had been sold he reduced the price back to$3750. This was 3 or 4 years ago. :popcorn: :popcorn: :popcorn: :popcorn: :popcorn:
