i was happy, but iam not anymore

I just instal a new sp1.7 and connect my cd player, i use the digital out of my myriad cd player and connect it to the sp1.7. The 1.7 dont see the digital signal. Do i have to set the menu settings differten? if i hit the digital button on de 1.7 a red led is burning and it stay that way. If i use the analog out of my cd player and put the 1.7 on bypass its good.
I use the 1.7 with a bryston spv1 and a 3b-sst. i use only stereo.

Hello Hifiuk, If you are using optical input you may need to program the SP1.7.  If you are using the coax, I guess you tried playing around with the digital button???

I used to have this issue when playing 24bit/192khz cds.  A quick reboot always works!

nope, this is what i did. Power off. put the coax from the cd to he sp1.7.
power up. its simple i can not do wrong. Also digital out from a dvd player wont do.

Hi,

Go into the DVD players menu and make sure the Dolby Digital out is selected?

thanks, for evereone. On the end it was just simple. I thake all the power off for 10 min. and put it on again. So far so good. What a sound, life is better with bryston amp's and the sp1.7
