I just visited the DIY Cable web site http://www.diycable.com/ and it looks like it has been hijacked!

It is unlikely the website/domain name was hijacked - rather the domain name was not renewed before the expiration date.  Upon expiration it was snatched up by a domain squatter.  Which is why we now get this generic website.

It hasn't been snatched up, it's just expired. Kevin, you should renew it asap, though. You probably also want to update the email address in the domain record, as it's currently your (old?) hotmail address (perhaps the reason you didn't get a renewal notice?)

Ahhhh, now I see that same image, last night no matter how many times I refreshed etc, I guess it was still pulling from the cache.

I am sure this is NOT what Kevin wanted to deal with next, unexpectedly...

Thanks everyone.....  yes another problem I didn't need.    I originally registered through a domain reseller.   My contact information is up to date with them but somehow, the information didn't get to the actual registration.   As a consequence my registration expired without notice.

I'm getting it rectified.   I suspect its going to take 24-48 hours to get updated in all the DNS servers.

At least we have the hot chick up there for your viewing pleasure.
