I recently finished a pair of Pal Dao rosewood SongTowers with the ribbon tweeter for my personal use.  Since I never charge myself for labor, I thought it would be nice to rub them out to high gloss.  I also decided to upgrade to our deluxe spikes (it's nice to be able to upgrade at no cost).

The next project on my list (since I already had a SongCenter and SongSurround II's), was to build a matching SongSub.  While you can't see it in the following pics, it too was and rubbed to high gloss.

These are pal dao rosewood.  Yours are ziricote.  So the colors are not the same.  But yours will have the same type of bookmatch patterns shown here.  The grain is obviously different, but there are some very nice patterns in yours as well.

Do I need one of those for my ST RT in Pal Dao?     You used up the last of the veneer, right?   

I've never owned a sub.  How do you hook it up if there aren't "sub out" jacks from the preamp?

I have been on Salk website and google everyday since I ordered them. Looking at Ziricote slices from every angle.
Beautiful.
Didn't have the cash for a Glossy finish though.
I wonder how much of a difference it does make.????
