Hi All,

I run my amp of a battery, but the charger has started buzzing & needs replacing.  It's a Soneil 2403SRL (http://soneil.com/content/2403srl-0).

The best price for a direct replacement, shipped to Australia, that I've been able to find is about US$160. 

Can anyone suggest an alternative model that I could try?  In an ideal world it would have a tamiya male connect on the DC end (http://tinyurl.com/l8vnwps) or the ability to be easily changed as the battery has a tamiya female connector.

ebay/amazon selling suggestions more than welcome.

Ctek 3300 or 7000 series is what I use.  Connects to wall outlet and the directly to battery.  Stays on all the time and the 7000 series is dead quiet. The 3300 is almost as good for half the price.  Check out ebay for both.  Jon

Absolutely, it matters.  I've seen the Soneil for about $65- don't know about shipping.
