FREE - Local Only - Philips TSU7000 Remote
« Reply #528 on: 22 Jan 2020, 10:50 pm »
Philips remotes. Philips doesn't make remotes anymore, but if you have one already, this will make a great spare.

Will also provide Xantech emitter jumpers for controlling items in cabinet.

I have two sets of speakers and a set of tube monoblock amps for sale here in the St. Louis area:

Von Schweikert VR 33   $1250 for the pair    come with Herbies Audio Labs threaded stud gliders

Von Schweikert DB100  $1000 for the pair   had these for years but haven't used much as they are ultimately too large for my space. 100db efficient - can be driven by flea watt amps. Built in amps power woofers for bass -- bass level is adjustable.  Review on Soundstage. These are large and quite heavy -- but if you have the space - great speakers at unbeatable price.  (I only took a picture of one of them -- the other is identical and in the same condition)

Aronov Audio LS9100 monoblock tube amplifiers 110 watts per channel. I have also had these for years but haven't used them since about '08-09. I had them modded by Steve Huntley of Great Northern Sound in '05 -- basically a parts swap. I've included a pic of the document describing what he did. I know there are people in the St. Louis area that are familiar with these fine amps. They would not come with tubes or power cords. $850 for the pair. I have them currently stored - so no pics. If someone is interested I will pull them out and take pics.

OK Guys.  After moving from my house with dedicated home theater/listening room to a 1 BR duplex I don't have room for some of my AV equipment. Some is older, some is newer.  Prices are dirt cheap or free.

2 GIK Acoustics Scopus T40 tuned membrane absorbers - Free - come pick it up. PENDING

2 GIK Acoustics Tri Traps - Black/black - Free - come pick it up. PENDING

1 GIK Acoustics Pillar Trap - previous version of the Soffit Trap but with wood top and bottom - Free - come pick it up. PENDING

1 Integra DTR 5.2.  Just composite and S Video.  Sounds pretty good though. Good piece for a 2nd or 3rd (maybe garage/shop) system.  Free - come pick it up.

Key Digital 3x8 Matrix video switcher - BNC connectors - component video only.  Great for a multi-TV situation.  Key Digital HD Leeza.  Quite the piece at the time. Now, scaling up to 1080p, great piece for the right person.  BNC connectors.  component video only no HDMI.  Again, not for everyone.  But if you want a top quality pro type scaler, this is it.  $50 for both pieces

Theta Digital Casanova pre/pro - component video only - no HDMI.  Very flexible setup options.  $50

Pair Snell K.5 large bookshelf.  Snell CR.5 matching center channel. One k.5 has a ding in one upper corner but they function perfectly.  $250 for all 3 pcs

And the beasts.....

Servodrive Contrabass sub.  2x active 15, 2x passive 18.  Utility cabinet.  115db at 14 Hz.  George Lucase uses these to master on.  Will throw in a Crown Micro Tech 1200 amp that will drive 1 ohm in parallel mono at 1200 Watts (about what the sub likes and has to have the 1 ohm capability)  Amp needs a bit of work.  Lent it out and he hooked it up as bridged mono when set for parallel mono.  $250 for all.  Over $2k new just for the sub.  Bring a truck or van.  This is big and heavy.

Acoustat Monitor amplifiers - $4k of mods done by Mike Savuto of analog associates. They have a small arcing issue (amps) at higher volumes with lots of HF content but have spoken with Mike and he has a fix for it.   Just a couple of diodes to be added.  Best Acoustats I ever heard.  Nothing like the transformer based ones.  These can be modified to run other ES speakers also.  Have the panels and bases also.  These are a drop in replacement for the Acoustat transformers.  Price is negotiable.  Contact me and we can talk.  Would be willing to deliver within a reasonable distance.  SOLD

Thanks for looking!

FREE Denon DL-110 high output MC cartridge. About two years old and very well cared for. Well until I damaged it, which is why it's free. I was doing maintenance on my turntable, and bent the cantilever down and aft with my sleeve. So they cost about $200-$300 new and to have it repaired is about the same. So I'm going to upgrade. But if anybody wants this to either repair or do a DIY project I'm giving it away. Its actually a good cartridge to get into moving coils with.

Cheers.
