Bad news....a friend of mine called Marriott yesterday the $94/night room from 10-12 October are fully booked! :( :(

Luckily I booked mine last Sunday.. :green:
I think the Hyatt next door has the same deal....$94.00 a night.

Rooms available there....don't know...

Yes..there're still good deals at Hyatt. I've told my friend about it, but he insists he want to stay at the Marriott so he pay $170/night! :duh:

I prefer the food at Marriott - breakfast, lunch, and the bar are all better than Hyatt.

The question to ask....how much time are you really going to spend in the hotel room ?

See you at the show Barry....

Somewhat of an advantage being a senior citizen(77). I got my room at the Marriott for $93. a night. If I don't croak before then I'll see you there.

                                                   Cheers

RMAF 2008 Rooms Available at the Marriott and Hyatt
« Reply #45 on: 28 Apr 2008, 09:05 pm »
Al and I wanted to let everyone know there are rooms available at both the Marriott and Hyatt. Unfortunately, the Marriott's 800 number central reservation center cannot keep up with RMAF rates. If you want to stay at the Marriott, please go to http://audiofest.net/2008/accommodations.php to download the Marriott Reservation form, or call or email our Reservation Contact, Bianca Carlson at 303-740-2590 or bianca.carlson@marriott.com.

In the future, please call or email us (info@audiofest.net) so we can take care of the situation. I am not very consistent about checking the online forums.

Thank you for supporting RMAF. Your support and enthusiasm is what makes this monumental effort worth it. Marjorie Baumert

BTW: i'll be the moderator of a seminar called called Music Everywhere

Explore methods for ripping, storing, and distributing digital music in your home, car, office, and on mobile devices.  This panel will take a broad view for managing and maximizing the extensibility of your music collection.

It is scheduled for 11:00 Saturday in the Highlands Room, Hyatt Regency Tech Center. Look fwd to seeing many Audio Circle folks there, as am planning some good panel members and some free giveaways too :)

Alas, Apple already turned me down (anyone got connections) and am in talks with Microsoft and others while i HAVE secured...  :)

I just booked my car for $15 a day from Enterprise.com

You can also go to Advantage rent a car (www.arac.com) and picked up a car for $9.35/day :D

If you are like me, bring your pop tarts in your suitcase!   aa

I should be going to Bangalore sometime before the end of the year, but it definitely won't be the week of RMAF.
