...Someone with a nice 'table and a CD-R to burn me a copy of one of my LPs.

I no longer have a TT, but I have a few LPs that I never managed to copy satifactorily.  A while ago I borrowed a buddies' table but it was not, uh, audiophile approved.  Closer to the truth would be to say it's a meat grinder.

Worse yet, I don't have a good record cleaner anymore, either.

What I need is a friendly TT guy willing to make a good, clean CD-R copy of an, er, uh... an LP of mostly sentimental value.  Okay, it's a cheesy early 80's metal LP that will never see the light of day on CD.  I've never even met anyone who's heard of it, much less has it.

Whaddaya say, can anyone help a brutha out?

and I need to finish building my table before I can rip any LPs, although I intend to do the same shortly.

Cheesy early 80's metal?
 8) You're calling my name....

Who is it?
:?: You can sometimes find Japanese-only versions of some old metal on CD.

I hate to admit the identity in a public forum  ....

They're a band called White Tiger; they were ex-Kiss guitarist Mark St. John and ex-Sabbath singer David Donato.  Considering they were both (briefly) members of very high profile bands, you'd think WT would be out there, but I've been looking for fifteen years with no luck.

The album sonically isn't that good, and most people I know think they're laughably bad, yet I just can't help liking them.

Well, we prodded you into it, we can't exactly make fun of you for it now.....

At least it wasn't Stryper

Ever hear a band called Rough Cutt ?
I have them on vinyl and found a Japanese CD, too.

musicstack lists 3 entries for White Tiger.
One is a CD, but it's $19.24 and in Germany.

Hi,

I'll copy the LP for you.  I've got the "audio approved" toys plus the record cleaning machine.  Just contact me off line to make the arrangements.
