I'm completely ignorant about such things as coin collections and the like, but just inherited a rather substantial collection that I'd like to have evaluated and sell. There is some U.S. stuff including first strike mint sets, some gold proof sets, etc., but the majority of the collection is foreign.
I know there are a lot of seedy characters in the coin dealing business, so I'm trying to find somebody with real expertise that is not necessarily in the business who can give me an honest evaluation and advise on how to go about selling them.
