Title: Fet Valve DAC upgrade.

I have an AVA FetValve DAC (w/Telefunken 12ax7's).  I am looking for anyone that had the same DAC and then upgraded to an Vision DAC, what are the audible differences between the two.  I hope Frank will comment on this too.  Thanks, Dave

The only piece of hybrid gear I own is the Fet Valve amp I just bought used about a week or so ago. From the sounds of it on the forums, the Vision DAC is clearly better than all the previous models, and it is the only DAC that survived to carry on. I would like to get the Vision EC myself (to replace one of my Insight DACs), when I can piece together that much savings.
