"From Paris with Love" is a great Saturday night action movie. John Travolta is in great form and funny as hell. The action is almost non-stop with a body count close to John Wick films. Yes the plot is ridiculous, Travolta is over the top but if you want to relax with an old fashioned mindless buddy film with CIA agents John Travolta and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (Mission: Impossible III) against bad guys film this is it.

2010 was a good year for films so "From Paris with Love" disappeared from theaters quickly, not many people saw it and critics were not kind.

The film does have good bona fides, it was directed by Pierre Morel (Taken (2008) starring Liam Neeson) and produced by Luc Besson (The Fifth Element (1997), Lucy (2014), Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017), and Taken 1, 2, & 3.
