NS-40--what are folks using for the 12au7's?

Have a NS-40 from Blair that I love and since I do love it I would like a set of backup driver tubes for it.  It uses 12AU7's and right now I have a set of Miniwatts in there.  Want to know what people have used and are using and if there were any differences in sound.

Some of my favorites:

Sylvania
Electro Harmonix
RCA
Telefunken
5814A JAN tubes

The Tube Depot has allot of good 12AU7's to choose from.

Just to add th the list,,, I've had very good luck with organ pulls,, specifically the RCA 12au7 cleartops,,easy to find and reasonable. Also,,the new JJ goldpins are excellent.

I've tried rolling driver tubes in my two tube amps and have not noticed much difference between the brands.  It seems to me the most tube rolling bang occurs when swapping power tubes.  YMMV, of course.  I'm sure the differences are circuit-specific.  Keep us informed with your findings.
