I have seen several spike mfrs. claim that spikes made of brass offer superior sound. Just yesterday I found a site that coats their brass spikes with some sort ceramic material that they say provides further benefits...not sure about that one for speakers since the goal is to couple the cabinet directly to the floor; maybe true for electronics. There are also titanium spikes out there. Any comments regarding which is better or is this another dungeons and dragons exercise?
