I'm looking around for a used pair of Von Schweikerts but it seems that the only thing available locally to me (southern California) is a $1000 pair of Vortex Screens in San Diego.
I'm tempted to take a look at them but I'd like your opinions of the Screens and if should just wait for pair of newer speakers to come up for sale or just spring for the VR22? I've never owned VSA before and the only time I've heard them is when I went to the design studio yesterday in Riverside. they had the Unifield2 and it was amazing, with jaw-dropping bass.
btw - I am new to this forum and there's lot of good informative discussions here.
