There actually are ABB2 and ABB3 panels.  They are deeper versions of the ABB1 and really aren't intended for DIY applications, but more for recording studio built ins.  They get too cumbersome and expensive to be applicable to us'ns.

Thanks, Dave.  Looking forward to the final info.

Well, here it is:

The ABB1 diffusers in the 2 x 2 (nominal) size are priced as follows:

2 x 2 - Raw/unpainted                       $40.00 / matched cut pair

2 x 2 - Painted/2 coats                      $75.00 / matched cut pair

2 x 2 - 2 coat sealer w/ 2 coats paint  $150.00 / matched cut pair

2 x 4 nominal sizing is twice the prices above

Standard Colors Behr Paint in eggshell:

Linen White 1870
Dried Chervil ICC-105
Library Red ICC-82
Traditional Leather ICC-81
Pure Black
Pure White

Shipping will be done by FedEx ground.

In other words, everything is pretty much the way it has always been with the pricing as established.  It has taken a long (long, long, long) time to get a consistent foam supplier.  Our fabricater does good work IF he can get good material.  He has finally found a source.

We will do other colors from the Behr Paint color chart.

Please address your orders via PM to ADD (aka Igor - Greg Rael)  Fabrication and paint time is "about" 5 days depending upon our fabricator's workload...

Let the questions fly.

Dan, Greg or I will take some pictures tomorrow of some raw material and get it posted.  A box 2 pairs of 2 x 2 (the most common purchase) weighs about 13 pounds with the added spacers, etc.  This varies a bit, but I don't remember seeing any over 15 pounds.

Hi Dave and Igor,

The diffusors in the photo on page one of this thread, might that be the "Linen White 1870"???

Nope, that color is actually one called Swiss Coffee 2012.  The color is just a little 'warmer' (a tad browner) than the Linen White.  I should add that one to the standard colors.  We've done a lot of them in that color.

Dan, my picture looked like a picture of a piece of white paper.  I'll try for another that shows the texture better.

Dan, here is a closeup picture with the uncut foam (white) on the left and a cut, painted panel (Swiss Coffee) on the right.  This view was taken with shadow to accentuate the texture to make it easy to see.  As you can tell, their is not much difference in the bead structure.  The right hand panel is stacked on top of the left one to give you some perspective.  The one on the right is ~ 4" closer to the camera.

Dan, my bad.  I thought that I had sent all of the info to Greg but he only got one side of the equation.

It'll happen now.

Birth pains.

Evening Dave, Charles,
If everything stays on schedule I should be able to ship Saturday. Need to make sure the paint is dry enough. Worst case they will go out Monday.

Dog, no double Dog. It will be Monday before the diffusers will ship. They do look good but decided to let diffusers dry over the weekend. They will be at Fedex be noon. Will let you know what tracking numbers are.
