Got this from Redbox. It was well done. I should have seen it in 3d IMAX, but it was still entertaining on my hometheater. They did not really go into a whole lot of character depth, but hey, it was an action movie. I would give it a 3.75 out of 5. Some amazing scenery for sure. I spent 3 months in Nepal trekking, and have climbed a few 14 teeners in Colorado, and used to rock climb, so I had some interest. The wife who does none of that, enjoyed the movie too.

It was great in 3D.  Really gave a perspective of the height.

Overall I enjoyed it, too.  Good cast. It was a true story (or true-ish at least) but some of the deaths felt gratuitous.  You feel for the them because they're well portrayed by skilled actors and actresses, but I personally can't muster up quite as much sympathy for them as some will; they choose to do something very dangerous and died in the attempt.  I felt much worse for the families that probably never quite understood what drove their loved ones to throw their lives away like that.
