What might be the cost of these speakers over and above the normal STs?

The base cost is $3495 per pair.

Standard SongTowers are $1995.  If you add RAAL ribbon tweeters, they are $2695.  The "Supercharged" SongTowers are $3495 including upgraded W15 midwoofers, hardwood trim (a $300 option on other SongTower models) and Premium Cardas binding posts.  Standard veneers include curly maple, curly cherry, curly walnut, oak, straight mahogany and black satin.  For custom finishes, add the cost of the veneer or automotive paint.

In a standard finish - yes.  If the finish is custom, the hardwood trim may be more.

Quick question, can the SC-ST be ordered in the "traditional" black-bezel format? Personally, I like the way the standard ST cabinet breaks up the long front of the speaker.
