We're pretty much through the break-in process of of our Alnico super 6's and deep hemp cube and I'm stoked.
After doing a little comparison between our rwa 30.2 and manley stingray w/ jj el84's, the omega alnicos will remain paired with the manley. And I'm a little surprised to be reaching that conclusion, as I originally bought the rwa thinking it would be a perfect match for the planned omega purchase.
Anyway, I figured a little reggae was in order for the task at hand (break-in) and have been spinning reggae pretty much non-stop ever since. The musical presentation between speaker and sub is seamless. And I'm thrilled with the results of combining a single driver speaker with the el84 tubes operating in triode mode.
