SAS Audio would like to announce the 7A Line Preamplifier Kit is coming soon. The kit comes in several versions.
The Basic kit includes an assembled 7A board with extended, labeled leads for connecting to switches, LED, RCA jacks, AC power etc, provided by you.
One can also purchase any or all non-board parts such as silk screened black chassis, switches, RCA jacks, knobs etc from SAS Audio Labs. It just depends upon what you have in stock and what you wish to purchase.
One will be able to change the sound by switching (toggle switch on the back) the size of the output coupling capacitors or by rolling tubes. This allows for great flexibility. Gain can be set for either 3.5db or approximately 10db.
Board includes some large poly caps in the power supply and special order output capacitors. The 7A is not your run of the mill kit.
General assembly instructions are on my website and require some assembly skill, and be able to read a schematic.
