Not sure why I dig this song so much, except it has all the elements of an Old Cowboy Band; Fiddle, Stand up Bass Fiddle, Flute, Drum Kit, Rhythm and Lead Gueeetars, and Cowboy attitude lyrics.

I have both the Vinyl and CD version and it is well recorded with clear and well miked solos.

Get your boots on for this one and Rock Away.

I apologize in advance for the following departure to the "DARK SIDE" depraved as it is, I sometimes give in to the pulsating, hard driving BEAT of this dispicable and totally valueless form of sonic debauchery.

That said, I just hafta stick some of this on the CD/DVD player occasionally to keep everything balanced

Is it talent? Is it even music?

Makes one wonder if pheromones can be transmitted via sound waves?

I don't know, but I do know I enjoy it at many levels.

Today I played Anonymus Two by Focus, 26 minutes long!

It is a jazzy rock track, no vocals, has loud and quiet passages, aggressive flute, solo bass, solo drums and percussion, plus whole band including organ and guitar. Here's part 1 of 3:

I have been into AUDIO since about 1968, but my first real pair of Audiophile Speakers were Dahlquist DQ-10's.

Now my previous speakers were Altec Lansing Santiagos (VOT in nice cabinets) and I even had some Rectilinear III's for a short time, but I feel the DQ 10s with their soundstage and imaging were a big move toward my present listening preferences.

How did I find the DQ-10? I was in a High End Audio Salon browsing, and I hears a glass sliding door open and let out this INCREDIBLE detailed sound, and then it closed. I was inexorably drawn to that door. I opened it and went in . . . . . . . . and the rest is history. I was captured in a DQ10 generated sea of Acoustic Instruments, and dual Harmonies that just simply would not let me go.

I walked out with my first pair of DQ-10s

Brooklyn Bridge had a few good hits and were one of the early "Trumpet Playin Bands" that included Light House, Ides of March, Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears and a few others.

Lead singer Johnny Maestro was great.

I have posted of this young girl before and think she deserves another mention.

Sorry for recycling, but if you missed her the first time you GOTTA get her Bluray with David Foster

She may be (arguably) the best female vocalist of our time.

Just look at this video and start looking for her on CD's and Downloads. She is on the same level as Aguilar and Dion and just a teenager.

Here is here title track of her first Album PYRAMID which is a little more "hip hop".

PS: Okay, I just couldn't leave well enough alone. I know, I know, it is Ellen Degeneres, but you got to take a look at the video of this girl when she is 15 and her first time in the US.

If you can watch this video and not get connected to the EMOTIONAL POWER this kidoo can pack into her vocals you may not have a pulse.

OK, I have to admit I have somewhat resisted Multi-channel Music videos, but after seeing (and hearing) their potential at THE Show last week with the Charice (David Foster and friends) I have given in to the DARK SIDE, and will post haste be aquiring a collection of Multichannel Bluray performances, the first of which will be the Foster/Charice cut from above.

The Second will be ADELE "Rolling in the Deep"

The two that should be near the top of your list of mult channel recordings is Jeff Beck Performing This Week... Live at Ronnie Scott's (Blueray) and Alan Parsons, A Valid Path (DVD-A) that has one of the best multi channel track I have ever heard, Return to Tunguska.
