« on: 7 Jun 2014, 07:26 am »
So assume i modeled the woofer with a 30 liter requirements, does that mean i need to buil the box slightly larger to accomodate drives displacement and bracing? I guess yes, but just need a little confirmation.

Thanks

Your answer is here : http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/enclosure-volume-calculator/
Drivers and ports "shrink" the volume.
Hope the link helps you.

Many pro audio raw speakers brands inform the vol displaced by its drivers.
Usually the vol box recommended by an manufacturer for its project/drivers are the gross vol.
