Mike here.

I listen to lots of music, and pursue the best sound I can. my viewpoint is it all starts with the room, and how the speakers work in the room, a pure signal path, and the best sources ideally played in the native format. but lots of formats are wonderful......so embrace digital and analog. I'm a tube leaning guy who does not use tubes.

Welcome to the sweet spot. Good to hear someone acknowledging the importance of the room. If your room isn't up to snuff, and the speakers aren't happy in it, there's no way you'll get really first rate sound. Speaking of which, we can't hear your system, but we love pictures.....
