My first BP5 (1994 approx), came with balanced input/output. When I recently bought another BP5 used.....it arrived with plastic covers over the connection plugs. I was surprised not to see balanced connections. I just partially cut away one of the two covers to discover I can now peak right into my preamp....
Q: I will assume balanced ability was an option at the time, am I correct?
