I recently borrowed a London Decca Maroon cart for my PTP Lenco. Wow, what great sound, tons of impact and life to the music.

But, there is a hum. Not a constant hum, but a hum that increases as the cart approaches the motor, and only happens when the motor is on...

You can try shielding the motor with Mumetal, but that is like trying to stop gravity. The fricken universe and EMF..........

yeah, this isn't exactly a 'how do I fix it thread, as much as a, this stuff happens thread. I'll try a few things and report back...
