I'm curious myself.  I'm invested in mods of the original and am toying with switching to a USB transport.  Is the m2tech to spdif the same deal?

Laurent,
The stock M2Tech Hiface has been showing up more and more in the used audio market (i.e. Audiogon).  Easy enough to buy and try?

For whatever it may be worth, I used a Hiface with my Minimax DAC, but ended up replacing it with an MHDT USBridge. In my system, it sounded richer and a bit more relaxed. YMMV, as they say...

Ping/PM Levi. He's using a M2Tech Evo with his EE DAC.
