Nojima Plays Liszt Reference Recordings HR-25

Got this HRx disc at RMAF and put it on the Music Server.

Playback sounds great at 24bit/176.4KHz!   This was an analog tape master that was recently released as HRx.

Anyone else heard it?

I have the record and it is excellent. Have thought about the tapes but it is a very expensive proposition between buying the tape deck and the master tapes.

This is the HRx HiRez version of the WAV files are on DVD-R media for music servers.  They sound really good!   :D

I gave up on analog tape 30 years ago and not going back!   :nono:

Actually heard The Tape Project master tape copy of this, beyond belief, heard it at RMAF 2011 on a super sounding tape deck in the Von Schweikert room. The detail and dynamics of the piano were in the room, frightful realism.
Doubtful any digital will ever sound better, but would be great if it did.
I guess digital gets close enough for most people and if you never hear the tape you won't know that you are missing anything.
