Unplug charger during long periods of disuse?
« on: 15 Dec 2006, 09:19 pm »
I'll be out of town for about a month and was wondering if it was okay to disconnect the charger from my Sig 30 and modded Olive during that time. Will the long period of disuse cause the batteries to discharge completely?

Hi Balu,

Before you disconnect the chargers, please fully charge each unit.  Then, unplug the charger plugs from the Sig 30 and the modded Olive's charger jacks on the rear panel.

I recommend that if you are going to leave your units "in storage" for longer than 6 months, you should "top off" the charge after approx 6 months.  One month is totally fine.... no problem.

Happy Holidays,
